A Weekend Celebrating Irish Equestrian Sport with Overlander
There are weekends that remind us exactly why we are so passionate about Irish equestrian sport, and this past weekend was certainly one of them.
With temperatures soaring under glorious sunshine, the Overlander team was delighted to be supporting two fantastic events that showcased the incredible diversity of our sport – the Wicklow Summer Show incorporating the final of the Redmills Champion of Champions final, and the latest leg of the Overlander Eventing Ireland Leinster League. Both events took place on Sunday, bringing together riders, horses, families and supporters for a memorable day of competition.
From beautifully presented showing classes to the excitement and athleticism of eventing, the weekend highlighted everything that makes Irish equestrian sport so special. Whether competitors were stepping into the show ring or tackling cross-country fences, every rider shared the same passion, dedication and love for their horses.
At the Wicklow Summer Show, it was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout despite the heat. Competitors travelled from across the country, with horses and ponies turned out to perfection, creating a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day. These shows remain at the heart of Showing in Ireland and continue to provide an invaluable platform for riders of all ages and abilities to compete, develop and enjoy the sport together.
Meanwhile, the next leg of the Overlander Eventing Ireland Leinster League once again delivered outstanding competition. As proud title sponsors, it was fantastic to watch riders and horses continue their league campaigns, demonstrating the determination, skill and partnership that make eventing one of the most exciting disciplines in equestrian sport. With every league leg, the standard continues to impress, and we are incredibly proud to play a role in supporting competitors throughout the season.

It is a reminder that Overlander is about far more than horseboxes – it is about being part of the equestrian community.
